It's a free country... for now...
So you can do what ever you want.
And I still have my freedom of speech... for now....
So I will say this... Honestly, those are lame reasons to cancel your order... you sound like a very impatient person personally, I have read many threads like this... and each time I do, I just shake my head and think "whats up with these people? Just relax shoot!" It also says to me you were never really a fan of the Camaro in the first place. In which case, you will be better off buying something you are a fan of. This goes out to all those who have said similar things by the way, I am not trying to pick on the OP, just stating my discontent with post like this... but they have that right.

Sorry to hear.

Regards.

Sorry to hear it, man. Dealers should go above and beyond all your expectations when ordering a car.

I hope you get taken care of one way or another.

The "troll"....kma my man, I'm no troll.

For those that feel I am impatient, its very simple NO car is worth this amount of bullshit, but apparently I chose the wrong dealer, again, I dont see how I could have done any better, I did do my research.

I was told about them only getting two Camaro's AFTER from what I learned how many cars were being distributed was a big question mark.

Paying sticker price may not be a big deal to some, but unstable dealerships, and lack of customer service, to any degree. For christs sakes are gm dealerships so busy they cant answer a question or an email before a sale? If thats what YOU want after paying top dollar, then have at it.

But now we are resorting to name calling, and accusing me of not being an educated consumer, WTF.

Going to check out of this thread and forum, apparently the "true loyalist" resent my inability to be a dunce over a car.

This has nothing to do with being a true enthusiast of loyalist. Its about being treated right.

The first Camaro's are already going down the road. And many of them are being driven by people that just recently ordered their cars. While guys that ordered their cars months ago (some 8 months ago) don't have their cars and haven't been given any information about when their cars might show up. Some of the cars can't even be located by GM (where did they go?)

That's terrible customer service and has nothing do do with good dealers vs bad dealers. Its just bad business by GM.

I've owned 4 different Camaro Z28s. I've been a loyal GM customer since my first GM car ( 73 Camaro). But I've definately considered cancelling my order because of the screwed up pre-orderiing process and terrible customer service I've received from GM.

For what its worth, I'm with you on this one. A lot of people on this forum are so in love with the Camaro they have come down with "Camaro Syndrome". Its really a very ugly disease, symptoms include low customer service expectations and GM idolization. As the disease progresses victims may pass out and wet themselves at the very mention of a Camaro sighting. There is no known cure at this time because GM is still FUBAR. However, Doctors are working feverishly to find a cure and with any luck we may turn the corner on this ugly affliction in the near future. Keep the faith.

i understand and feel his pain, but we have known for a long time now, because apparently there was some fine print some where that said there is no guarantee that just because you pre ordered doesn't mean you get your car first. with 14000 pre orders all over the country there is no way a company can build those specific cars and individually ship them to them.that just can't be done and still be profitable GM is still just a business after all.

we have also known for a long time now that since that is not possible, that orders will be filled by dealer allocations and some of those dealers didn't allow pre orders and they are just one of the first to get their orders and that's why they have cars on the lot, that are being sold to people that have recently ordered or just walked in.

keep the faith, and good things will come.

I don't mind the wait but I do mind not knowing the status. I've read elsewhere that some Auto manufacturers such as BMW provide unsolicited updates on ordered vehicles. If this is true, it would benefit GM to provide the same. I know it would keep me from bailing and maybe the OP as well.

I'm still confused. I understand you are mad about that dealership's customer service capabilities. But you are mad that they are selling at MSRP??

ROTFLOL I totally agree. There are time I feel I am suffering from the same S&Ss. As a real RN I hope to see the order in the chart and the update on the MAR. Hope this is IV push med possible for greater effectiveness. Although, haldol with phenergen does wonders for calming anyone.

This is a very good point that dealers need to be aware of the level of customer support for orders like these. The more responsive the customer support the better the patient's quality of life while waiting for delivery. (this sounds just like a pregnant mother that is one week over due the more I think about it )

Now where are my meds........

I see a lot of people list their bad customer service experience at a dealer and soon someone will just tell them to go to another dealer. I agree to a point but in many areas that dealer is the only one close by and even if you buy from a great dealer at some point you have to deal with the jerk off for service. I was looking at new Vettes before I was sure the Challenger and Camaro were coming out. The local dealer had 10k mark ups and the Vette forum dealers were all below invoice. I told our dealer that and he would not budge. Went as far as to tell me that if I bought from an out of area dealer he would still service the car but it might take awhile. Sometimes things just get done slowly. Made it clear my car would pretty much rot if it came in for warranty work. So I decided not to buy at all.

So since GM cant do anything about it, and the dealer doesn't care, what else can you do.
