Mis- matched paint jobs

I just saw some pic's of a recently delivered IOM car and the front fascia paint was noticeably different and IMO unacceptable... how many delivered cars are coming through like this....and why?
I am hoping for delivery in the next couple weeks and would not be able to live with it like that.

The front fascias are painted at the manufacturer and then shipped. They are also plastic and yes the surface finish plus material difference plus paint batch is hard to match perfectly. I can see suttle differences with mine. My son is a body man so that was the first inspection. lol

The SIM I looked at matched perfectly. There have been others on here that have also noticed the mismatch of the IOM fascia, and pics too. I suppose it's something you have to take up with your dealer if yours comes through that way. It's a matter of the paint being over plastic versus metal, and Chevy is not the only manufacturer to have this problem.

Someone else showed a RJT car that was pretty bad, I'd imagine the SIM cars would probably be the easiest color to hide the difference.

It does not matter what the materials are made of, where there made, when there made, etc.......... THEY SHOULD MATCH. This is not the 70's . Any mismatch is unacceptable.
