Hi Becky,
So today is May 10th...supposedly the day that orders for 2013's can be accepted. I put my order for a 2013 in a couple of weeks ago. Since then a couple of people at GM have apparently looked at my order (status is 2030 per gmconnects), most recently on May 8. My question is....should something happen with my order today? Should the status change when GM accepts it? My workbench order number is QHSC0R. Thanks and I'll talk to you soon.

Today is the first day orders can be submitted to GM. If the dealer "places" the order today against their allocation, the status will change immediately to 2000. If the dealer does not have allocation, they can ask for allocation but the result of that would not be known until Tues AM. Right now your order is still 1100, so the only question is if the dealer has the allocation or not.

As you know, I am in the same boat. I thought that sold orders were normally accepted without regard to dealer allocation. I know this wasn't true for the last consensus of 2012 but thought it was now. Am I confused? If so I need to encourage my dealer some.

It's not unusual at the start or finish of the model year for dealers
to need allocation to place an order. So for the start, they will need
to have it. Good luck to you
