since some have awards for most club members, we could focus and plan ahead for club group meetings at these shows- takes care of both issues.


This will be an issue in the future too in general, maybe we should look at:

Optimal meeting location/days of week/time.
It doesn't have to be with the camaro- do it rain or shine, car pool- just get face to face.

Some thoughts.

Midweek sounds good to me. I wouldn't mind making the jaunt afterwork some night, heck I have been down to Des Moines twice now during the week. Tama is only a hop, skip, burnout ,and a jump from here.

I'll be leaving 'bout the same time and heading down to Hannibal. It's an area I haven't explored much in the last 6 or 7 years. It's a "judged" show, so I'm hoping to pick up some tips, and... it's always nice to be the outsider and spank some local cars in their own shows..

Is it going to be left up to the AUN to represent the ICE at all the shows outside of Cedar Rapids???

Alright, so I started working on making business cards and come to realize that I may not be that good, but am still willing to give it a shot. Its kind of difficult coming up with a sexy card. Probably be better with some sort of computer program. Anyhow, this is just an idea and leaves room for lots of improvements such as official ICE logo. This was also kind of a rush job as I am at work so when we start to get more things figured out I can take my time and make something a little nicer.

My other thought was maybe going to McGraths, as I know they have some good looking cards, and find out who did theirs.

renyart if you end up having free time sat. there is a cruise in type show on south side of dsm in indianola from 5 pm till 9 that is if you are driving your camaro down its free they are giving door prizes and 50/50 drawing ! im thinking of going and checking it out ! hey nitro nice to see you posting again its been a while and wished you could have done the ice cream social i was hoping to see ya ! there will be more get togethers soon i hope ! oh and to the other post some one asked about racing im not racing i was referring to the nascar racing at newton 19 and 20 some day im gonna go to track and run straightline though !

The car show is at Southeastern University in West Burlington from 0900-1500. Jason says it's a pretty good sized show. I'll be going through Cedar Rapids on I380 around 0700 Saturday morning. Let me know where to meet and we'll go down together.

Southeastern Community College* It is on the west side of town right off of Hwy. 34. I will only be sticking around until 12:30-1:00pm as I have quite a bit of stuff to get done on the '76 before next weekend.

I can meet up with you guys in near Olds (Hwy. 78) or down in Mt. Pleasant on Hwy. 218 and we can cruise down together.

We could each design our own from that layout featuring our own cars and a group shot too.
