BMore I sent you a pm re: led fogs. Forum App seems to be malfunctioning though so you may have gotten the same message multiple times. Lemeknow. I'll take them off your hands.

So do you really have to do dis? Well poo. Good luck with the new G-Ride. I'd go with the Gen if it were me. Subies are always cool but the other cars seem like toys to me. I think the Mazda is so if you have to go hot hatch then do the the ST. I know I know, don't want to have to wait until Oct. So since the Mazda looks like crap and you don't want to wait then that leaves the Gen and the Subie. Something tells me your looking for adventure so go with the Genesis with the boosted 4.

There. Easy decision. It's done, do it. And don't be a stranger.

Holy crap I travel for a week for work and come back to this?!?! I'm sad I will never get to see your car in person Bmore, now it is looking like I'll be moving to California in a month. I'd definitely go with the Genesis btw, time to go outside and polish the Camaro! Best of luck bro!

I am almost starting to feel like I am turning my back on you guys Not feeling too good about this whole moving on to a new project thing, because you guys been too damn great!! but I think this is the smartest move for my personal situation and what I want to accomplish. I'm 120% positive that I was going to FI the camaro if I stayed with it to get where I wanted to go, so why not start with a lower compression factory turbo'ed vehicle that was designed for forced induction with ton's of more aftermarket and tuning support.

I promise you guys that I will stay around as long as I can and help out where I can. If you guys need anything you know I am only PM or phone call away

Jak, I never got any message from you. The light is gone. Everything is gone.

Chad, genesis is only my top list but I just found out the theta 2.0 block is only good for 350-400 to the wheels. It seems the rod is the weak link. One good thing tho is the price to have the bottom rebuilt with forged component from exeladyne. Very affordable. Still deciding.

Not true Jay. The new 2013 is pushing over 20lb of boost peak and now have forged block(rods and piston). The pre 2013 GC was blowing holes after about 350. The 13 is very new and you are going to be stock for about 6-12 months until poweraxle or BTccc start, but CMD or haltech is currently trying to see if it can work on the 13's with some minor modification. Haltech plug in is the way to go. Its like HP tuners for import. Once the tune get worked out the 13 turbo should push 350 peak easy. Stock 13 turbo is already putting down 250ft lb of tq by 2500rpm. That's about 18tq more than advertised. The new DI V6 is pushing 290 whp and less tq than the turbo version at 241wtq but is rated at 295tq vs 275tq for the turbo. I would go with 13 gen coupe hands down as long as you can wait for tuning development. With just a tune the 13 turbo will be good for mid 13's stock! maybe even more. I think it look awesome too and weigh 600lb less than the camaro.

Oh no. It's sad to see you making a switch. You've done so much for us here on C5. With all these new FI options FINALLY coming out. I thought for sure you would be next to go FI.

But the new Gen Coupe is a nice ride. It's gonna be a big winner and the dudes on the Gen forums will welcome you with open arms.

bmore I have owned a fen coupe 2.0t and I can easily say it felt as fast as the Camaro in accelerating but then it just loses the torquey feel unlike the Camaro but in the year that I had that car it had no problems at all. The looks were great and it was fast to me go the the gen coupe that 340 something hp will feel great next choice the wrx

Thanks guys. I am really leaning towards the 13 turbo r-spec in white with red leather. I been on gen coupe lately and guys on there seem great. There's a few ex C5 guys on there to LOL. I talk to the guy snoopy on gencoupe which has the actual parts and manufacture manual from RStheta 1(2008-2012 turbo) and RStheta 2(2013 turbo) and as streetking said the new 2013 RStheta 2 engine seem to have solved the problem with forged rod and other nice upgrade, but what worry me is that it's powder formed forging called sinter forge rather than the actual steel forge that you would get from maleh and exeladyne and such. I guess you really can't expect a nearly none destructable steel forged rods from a mid 25k vehicle that can push 600-700hp/tq but I just hope that it can handle more whp than around 350-400hp/tq without worrying like one would with RStheta 1 engine. 350-400 seem to be the very last limit before the rod punching a hole through the block. Also, it look like vince is trying to cross over to hyundai LOL!

Haven't made up my mind yet but it's getting there. I was looking at the new 2013 ford mustang 5.0 and V6 the other day. Some mags are putting the new V6 mustang at 5.1 and 13.7@102!! I can't sit here and lie LOL. The 2013 mustang's behind look freaking awesome! The front look just like the shelby now.

Jay the new 5.0 in black looks like a badass Shelby! Love it. 5.0 is a badass car man and the market is there to make it an absolute beast

Hate to say it, but I'm fine with admitting...sure with the Camaro V6 performed like the Mustang V6 and responded to bolt ons and tunes like it does....but that said I'd never trade the looks and I also think the Camaro V6 sounds better with aftermarket exhausts.

If it wasn't for the weight, the Camaro would be right there. This is why I'm already very excited to see what a lightweight 6th gen Camaro will offer. A V6 with equal or more power than the LFX in a 3,400 lb car sure would be fun!

you know what..you are absolutely right LOL. It was the 5.0 that got a 8hp bump. The V6 the mag tested with 13.7 and 5.1 was the 2013 track pack with 3.31 gears, not even 3.73. If I get a mustang it will be a 5.0. It would be pointless for me to go V6 mustang from my V6 camaro, although the V6 mustang take mods very well and have tons of more support, especially tuning.

Dude, the 2013 mustang is a bad arse. Those new black and red LED lights are freaking awesome! I love those active vents that only come in 5.0 too

Only if the camaro decided to bring in the lighter ATX chassis a little sooner I don't think I can wait until 2015 to be honest:( LFX in a 3400 lb car would be very close to a mustang V6 now I guess since they weigh 3500lb. The basic plain V6 new mustang with 2.73 is same as our V6 camaro stock in 1/4. It's the track pack with 3.31 that has some kick. Look like 13.9 is about the norm and 13.7 with super perfect day and lauch LOL.

My very very first turbo car was a 1.8T jetta LOL. I never really liked those GTi's, but I do like the R32!

Right now I'm just focused in getting the car clean back to stock. I am actually done except for small stuff like the engine cover, pillar from my gauges and a nice wash. I should be completely done tomorrow once the pillar and engine cover comes in. As of right now I am stock with 3.91's only and I have to say, the car freaking pulls like a freight train! I really didn't feel the 3.91 with all of my mods for some reason, but on a stock car it feel sooo different. If I decided to leave my car stock, I think I would be good with just vararam, exhaust and the 3.91's.

The cold start misfire I been having is completely gone. I have no idea what was the deal with that. I'm starting to think it might of been affected by the tune somehow(not even going to get into that). Since the car is back to stock with stock tune, the misfires are GONE!!

I'll keep you all updated on what I went with. I am going to broaden my options

I'm a fan for just a little while and relieved to know you'll still be around. Wish ya the best. We'll be watchin what's out there that could possibly take the place of this fine, fun car.

PS. Still got the headers? PM me.
