has anybody changed out the door panel inserts on their cars yet? i got mine in the mail last week and i door apart my door last night and saw that the way the stock ones are in there they melted some plastic studs that have to be cut off. I don't know where i can get some replacement screws to mount the new panel on there anybody know where i can get some?

We just squeezed to rubber tops so they would slide through the openings.

ok weird thing happend to day. this morning i drove the car to work and everything was working fine. When i went to drive it again this morning i was getting a warning on my dash saying the trunk was open. i tried to open and close it a few time but it was still giving me the warning. anyboyd else have this?

Wow. Have not heard of that one. Have you checked the switch? Might be some dirt in it from all of that wind yesterday.

The stock system sucks

Indeed. For a "premium" system, it is the tinniest sounding system I've ever heard.

I'm going to do the amplifier upgrade as well and put in a sub. Let me know if you want some help. I can be there in, oh...30 seconds.

I stopped by ace hardware today and picked up some screws that i found on one of the threads on here i am gonna try this again when i get of work tonight. hopefully all goes well i can show off my new interior tonight at the meeting.

maybe either sound good. And regards to the stock system, mine is loud but not as clear. I would rather have the b.a. instead of the 6 speaker system.

hello, The new ZL1 will be gan, silver ice metallic. I'm dumb cuz I said my 2011 was cyber gray metallic. It's not. It also is silver ice metallic. Wanted the red or orange ZL1 but so hard to choose. Thought the silver with black wheels and exposed carbon fiber insert was hot.I'll add some other black out items to top it off. And? almost screwed up cuz that 100th anniversary edition corvette caught my eye hard this morning. Actually thought about driving it out and quit my original ZL1 order.WHEW !!! got out fast before I changed my mind. Be at the meeting at 7.

That is very cool. If I good with the ******** system, its all ready to go, easy install.

I'm perfectly happy with my ******** stealth enclosure setup. I also disconnected the front center speaker. Just a PITA to remove/re-install for track days. Need to figure out what will pass Tech Inspection. Another 80 pounds (approx) won't matter much in a heavy car with a good tune.

Great Turn-out at the club meeting last night! 18 cars and 26 people (not counting the little ones)! It's always a pleasure getting together with you all and seeing the mods and hearing the stories. Several first-timers as well! Our member list continues to grow. I'll get some notes out and the updated member list this weekend.

Note;

Test & tune at SIR tonight for those interested. A good time just to stop by and watch the action and see what some of the Camaros can run with their mods.

Cars & Coffee at La Encantada (Skyline & Campbell) Saturday, I believe it's still an 8AM start. I plan to be there for awhile, then head for breakfast across the street at Jasper's. Anyone want to join up, let me know.
