Bye bye expensive cleaners!!

CAR CLEANER
Whether you are trying to get rid of the brake dust that accumulates on your tires and hub caps, or the bugs, dirt or pollen that always stick to your car's grill and wind shield, skip the special auto cleaners and use vegetable oil instead. Pour a tiny bit onto a paper towel or a rag, and wipe down these surfaces. The vegetable oil helps wipe the gunk away while creating a car-safe coating that future debris won't stick to

So, who's gonna try it and report back?

This is only for the un-informed, non-anal, non-car junkies that give two craps about their vehicle as far as paint and appearance goes. And then you wonder how people can be so dumb sometimes...it's "tips" like these that keep people stupid, and their cars looking like crap.

Also how does putting Vegetable oil on your rims keep brake dust/grime off them exactly? Have you ever gotten vegetable oil on your hand? Everything sticks to it!

You may be missing the bigger picture;
It could be a way to stimulate the flagging Auto Detailing industry;
somebody's gotta clean up the mess
