How much more would you pay?

Just curious everybody. To those of you who have traded up to a SS or are thinking about it, how much more a month would you pay to get into a SS from what you are currently paying?

I'm toying with the idea of possibly trading for a SS, but I am not hung up on it right now as I don't think I will get that great of a deal. Ideally $0 - $100 more a month would be okay with me, but I doubt that I could pull off a trade to a SS for that.

Thoughts?

...and for the record, I would totally be down to wait and see what happens with the 6th Gen when it comes out to trade or buy! I'm in no hurry. Just that darn bug whispering in my ear for "MOAR POWER!".

When I traded in my TBSS my payment was $549. The resulting payment to my camaro is $657. Well worth it.

It really depends on how much you're willing to put down. I traded in my V6 and also put down an additional 5K I think. My SS payment is 20 bucks more a month than my V6 payment was. My V6 was fully paid off when I traded it in.

I just trade up last week from a 2010 2LT to a 2012 2SS for $50 more a month. It went from $370 a month to $420 a month. I couldn't be happier!

I wouldn't trade my LT. I loves it.

If I could have both I would... Ohhh I wonder what color I'd get for my weekend car, green maybe, green and black! Let's make it a weekend ZL1.

I'll wait 15 or 20 years and pick one up for less than $5000 cash that's been beat and modded by a backyard mechanic and restore it back to her former glory and drop a 572 crate in her. No offense to anyone intended...

For me, there's no way in hell I'd pay over $600 a month on an SS.....and that's pushing it. I mean, for the same price I could get a used C6...for cheaper a used GT500, C5 Z06....and for a few grand more I could have a brand new Vette.

I'm sorry, and no offense to anyone, but there's just not $40k worth of car in a new 2SS/RS. There just isn't.

My payment is 500 dollars for seven million years, but I think every dollar I owe in the world is in that loan, not just my car, cause the rate was very good, I just had them add any money I owed into that, don't even have credit cards anymore.

You would also have to ask how many more months are you willing to pay on your loan. Someone who's loan goes up $20 a month - say to $420 - but now has 72 months instead of 24 months could say they're only paying $20 a month more, but really they're paying about $21k more - a salesman's dream.
