I've gotten almost 500 and I was really impressed with that. I don't think 650 is possible....

Fen will be step one in the Pedders validation cycle These new small Chevrolets are easy to suspend. Increasing HP is like

The 1.4L Turbo loves the factory air box We tried I don't know how many tube configurations and we made the most power on the stock air box. By the end of the day we had cut up the OEM box so I drove home on the least lame CAI we constructed My replacement OEM air box cover and MAF came in this afternoon The ricer turbo sounds are now just a bad memory The tune is the best we could get from our least lame CAI With the OEM air box in place and the CAI tune the Sonic does a very light mouse like squeak from a standing start with 3 or four feet of a very light gray almost burnout Brake torque this beast to 2K and it is a short squeal It will be back on the dyno soon enough with a K&N filter in the OEM air box and 2 to 3 more pounds of boost. We should see more than 160 at the wheels easily, but I do believe I said that before The base line run was 125 FWHP. I left with one less pony than we started with I will be bringing the OEM air filter just in case the MAF won't play nice with the K&N We planned to install a catch can, but unless I can find a Chevy OEM catch can to try and keep the 1.4 happy

Fen -- let me know when you get your Verano. If the Cruze kit doesn't fit out of the box, it will when I am done with it.

It will probably be this summer, waiting for '13 models. Coming down to Verano vs Cruze looks like. Verano is winning at the moment.

Haha. It'll be my parents' new fuel sipper. They're putting too many miles on my Envoy.

Haven't seen many of the SEMA Cruzes.

Ok, apparently Carol Shelby has passed. A sad day for motorsports and enthusiasts. Rest in Peace.

Also, and beating a dead horse, do we really care that someone got a ZL1 to run a 9.8 second 1/4? I mean if I strap a JATO rocket to one I can probably run 6s but I am just not interested. I know the modability is important to some people and I certainly don't mean to disrespect those that do care. Maybe it's just that 1/4 mile times don't appeal to me.

Oh well, it's Friday, had a good week at work, an Mrs. Number 3 is getting ready for a night out. Not too bad at all....................unless you are Carol Shelby.
