If you order a custom camaro from the factory do they offer a better alarm system to upgrade to instead of going through the pain of doing it after you get the car?
I've been watching some videos on installing a viper system and it's a pain to do after the car is already asembled, it would be so much easier on the factory line!
No. Just the standard option. If you want something different or better, you have to go aftermarket.

have a 5700 series(I think) viper and if you drop the wiper blade on the driver side it will set it off. other than that I love it. my 1LT didn't come with the hardware to have the factory remote start installed so I went aftermarket and got a few more bells and whistles to go with it.

I bought this one a few months ago.

It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but the dealer commended it so I bit the bullet and so far, it's been very best!

You can put a proximity sensor on any of the DEI alarms, so even if you get a basic $299 like a 350 or something its an extra $90 for the sensor and an extra $50 for isntall, so about $450 is right. All depends on the model alarm you choose

It works better than the onstar one ,so far.The onstar app was starting to take too long to start the car.
