Does anybody else think the ambient lighting is a little cheesy, That lighting package is what made me order a 1ss. Going to order the guages and put them in myself after I get my car

Oh god no. It is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Before I got the car I really didn't even know what it was. My first time in the car at night I was like WTF that is cool as shit. Then I did some reading and was like OHHHHH that's what they mean by ambient lighting. I like it. I can see how some might not. Nothing wrong at all with a 1SS. Enjoy my friend!!

No I like it. Looks really cool. There has not been 1 person that has looked at my car
that hasn't commented on how sweet the ABL is.
I could have cared less about it before. Now that I have my car, I am glad it is in there.
It really stands out.

I actually love the idea of the Ambient Lighting so much that I replicated it in my New Yorker (since it will be a WHILE before I can get a Camaro of my own). It's not quite as cool in my car, but It's the same basic idea, and has the same effect.

yeah what is ABL...i wonder...could it be lights that are really cool on the door panels.....no it cant be....

i didn't know anybody still drove new yorkers! that's awesome! my friend in high school drove a '76

anyway... i know there's a few out there, but which kit did you use for your lighting & how easy was it to install? last question is how pleased are you with the quality?

I ordered a 2SS, but wish it didn't have ABL. Not sure why but I am not a huge fan of it. Oh well...

I love the lighting on the car ... makes the interior better IMO

after having my car for almost 2 weeks i enjoy the ABL, i think it would be nicer to have gone across the dash like originally designed but, i still enjoy it adds a little flair to nite time driving
