If it's true, the Dodge Ram might get the 6.4 ..... and lets pray this makes it in future SRT8 vehicles

Of course, all of this assumes that Chrysler emerges from bankruptcy with these projects intact. Bug assuming that, we're being told that in addition to its spot in the Ram HD lineup, the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 is also likely to make an appearance under the hood of Jeep's next Grand Cherokee SRT8. The next obvious question, then, is how much money will the powerplant add to the cost of the vehicle and what kind of fuel mileage will it be able to muster?

An SRT8 decided to pull up next to me last night and launch in front of me. I threw it in 3rd and starred in my rear view mirror. Ha, even his lady was laughing as I passed him up. He had 2 people in the car, I had 4. Then we hit a light, once again I was at least 2 car places ahead of him. Maybe it was an auto.

How about that for a 4.6

He was keeping up all too well to be ricing by because we raced 2-3 times. I was 2 car places ahead. They seemed average sized, but I had 2 more people in the car...

Yeah, there's no way you'd win stock for stock with equal drivers. The automatic or manual will out run you.

Sorry, it's the facts. Are you sure it wasn't an R/T?

Interesting. SRT-8's are supposed to be built for straightline racing, and I am going to have to agree with the post above mine.

It was the red I've only seen the SRT8 in, so I was assuming it was the SRT8. It may have been an RT.

Yeah you can get the SE and R/T in red as well. I'd laugh if a SE was trying to race you. Crazy V6er's.

I really wouldn't say that. The SRT and R/T still perform great.

I wouldn't be knocking Fiat, they own Ferarri, who I *think* knows something about going fast.
