I have to see it again. I don't remember Barricade getting killed in that movie. There is internet bench racing then there is this.

no. the s7 was/is one of the baddest cars ever made. and at the time the movie was being filmed saleen had broken off completely from ford for a year already. in fact the saleen used for barricade was the first nonford model. the 2006. its probably why he was commissioned by gm, who was the supplier to the movie, to build bumblebee. which, like many have stated, he did out of a 2006 GTO and gm prototype camaro body 'glass. which, for the record, was only made in a v8.. and didn't I read a while back that saleen was returning?

Also, GM was a paid sponsor for the movie, so you can't show a sponsor losing right? |

If I'm not mistaken, in the beginning of the second movie there is a Audi R8-Decepticon vs. the Corvette Concept (Sideswipe?). GM cleaning house in both movies.

I think Saleen is a self-serving, pandering, has-been of a d**khole. (referencing his remarks about the TF bumblebee at a mustang gathering)
He can go DIAF and I'd never miss his ungrateful azz. But the movies are just entertainment. That's all. If I saw any car turn into a robot for real, I'd sh*t my pants.
