That should be way more than 358. Mine was at 340 with just a cold air intake and cat back and no tune.

I agree 358 is real low even for an Auto. I would think you would be around 380 or better. What headers and CAI did you go with?

Yeah, I would get Doc to look at it as you are going to do. It would be great if Doc gets you more power but suck because you already paid for one tune.

Doc did my tune also. He'll be able to tell you what's going on.

When I took my car to Doc, he started with the mail order tune I was using and updated it. Since he didn't have to start from scratch he only charged me $100.

I don't know if he does trans tunes as well since I have a manual but it seems the trans tune is as important as the engine tune on an auto.

He does do trans tunes. That is where he said I would benefit the most when I get mine done.

I"m a little confused on this too. I'm assuming no. I've had mine tuned by one of the best 69L80E guys out there and it still seemed to do that. (Owen at ARD in Houston Texas)

Vengeance Racing (Mike) also tuned my car when they did the cam but not sure about the tranny.

I think it's just a product of the auto tranny. Which is why I bought the tap shift shifter so I can drop myself if I want. LOVE it.

Best I can tell you is what I've always done and that's to just make up your mind and floor it. If you hesitate at all it's gonna do that.

There's nothing wrong with that though. We know with our L99s that we start off lower than the LS3s, and while having a higher number is a personal sense of satisfaction, it doesn't necessarily mean our cars are slow altogether. Of course a guy who's throwing down 400 at the wheels will be faster, but if it's a race we're talking, then it also depends on the driver too, ya know?
I haven't tuned mine yet, so I don't know where I stand, but when I talked to Doc last year at a car show he was making the point that a lot of guys go in chasing numbers. I get that it means a lot to some people, but the mods you've done have greatly improved on your car's performance already! If it's a show car, yeah chase those numbers. If it's a track car, spend time on your skills at the track. It really boils down to what you're going for. I bet your car feels like a beast now compared to when you started
And hey, if numbers is your game, there's always a cam, and a supercharger, and FAST intake, and...

All in all, I hope to see your car soon! I just wish my order was here so I could throw it in and play along side you!
