I don't have a Camaro yet but considering all of the complaints about the AFM and the M6 Grind issue you would think GM would address it.

1. Cheap interior quality. I was just looking at a friend's new Ford Fusion which was $10K less than my car, and it is loaded with chrome, wood, less hard cheap plastic, etc. It seemed like a luxury car next to the Camaro's interior.

2. Rear seat. My friend absolutely refuses to ride in the back seat again after doing it once. I tried it, and even though I'm short it seems ridiculous. My 1994 Buick Regal coupe was actually a little smaller and had tons more back seat room.

3. Trunk space. I bought mine just after Easter. There is no way I could have fit the groceries for Easter in my trunk. Don't know what I am going to do next year. I also kept a couple of lawn chairs in the trunk at all times in my Buick, and still had plenty of trunk space. I'm wondering if the chairs will even fit in the Camaro.

4. That stupid hump above the door sill. I guess it must be structurally necessary, but I am contantly wiping off scuff marks. They should have at least carpeted it.

Many other little things. Fortunately I forget about most with the top down and XM radio on.

The nose is too lopped off looking.
The beltline is too high.
The quarter windows should work.
All models should have either a spare or runflats.
The combined brake and clutch reservoir is cheap.
The SS brakes are insufficient for the weight and power of the car.

1. Paint.
2. Brakes sqeaking.
3. Trunk space is fine for me, it's the space in the trunk opening I have more trouble with. Golf clubs don't fit in too easy...but I do get them in there. Not that big of a deal, though.

not really a fair comparison though. the fusion is a midsize sedan that targets buyers in the 25-45 age range with a wife and 2.5 kids. doesn't have the power or looks of the camaro, but instead has a nicer interior.

it's because it's a rear wheel drive car, and a coupe at that. you have an axle and rear differential back there. in front wheel drive cars they use a simple independent wheel suspension for each rear wheel and can thereby drop the trunk floor down another 12-18 inches to create a huge cavity for storage. it's one of the reason FWD cars became so popular.

Maybe not yours but it is a known and much complained about issue. Look it up there are many threads about it.

No, they don't target the same buyers. However, with what I paid for my Camaro, I could have bought a Cadillac or Lincoln. A Camaro would never have been close to those in price decades ago. So I would expect it to have a little nicer interior at that price point. Not to mention that Fords and Hyundais have nicer interiors.

I have owned only RWD cars except for the Regal, and while many were larger than the Camaro, the Camaro trunk is just ridiculous in comparison.

I didn't pay anywhere near the price of a Cadillac or Lincoln for my camaro, so I guess it's what you buy. in fact, I paid about the same for my camaro that I did for my altima I bought in 2007. I think the camaro was 1000, maybe 2000 more. but that was 5 years ago too. and you bought a convertible, of course it's going to be much more expensive. Like getting the V8, there's a pretty significant premium that comes with that.

and the camaro is a coupe, of course the trunk is going to be smaller than a lot of other RWD cars. they can't lower the bottom of the trunk, the only way to create more space would be to raise the height of the rear deck. at that point it would look pretty stupid.

Afm....they should have just used the ls3 and coupled it with an automatic tranny.

The paint is very weak.

Blind spots stink but you get used to them.

Depends on what model you get. But with the higher price models you should get a little nicer interior than what we get.

I refuse to drive a 4 door, so all my cars (except one) were coupes. I don't think the new Camaro is much smaller than a 1969, yet I just saw a 1969 yesterday, and with similar dims, they managed to get much more trunk and rear seat room. Yes there are regulations they have to meet now, that they didn't then, but still, I think there could have been some better space planning.

its a good car. i like mine. i would change a lot of stuff if it was just for me. i know they have to build a car to sell to the masses but it is a performance car so why not cater to the performance people a lil more.
my 62 chevy that i built frm the ground up myself with old parts shifts like 50 times better than my new ss. the visibility issue. the throttle lag that they put in there is an issue when on track for me. the weight is a factor in performance. the combined brake and clutch res is a problem. i could go on but ill probably get bashed for saying this much stuff is wrong with the car.
i was surprised that some think the car is perfect. really? perfect? come on.
