So to get the car quicker I went with 3;73gear and a power programer and then it ran very well. I guess my question is if you change to a free flow exhaust will it effect the low end power? or will a tune help that ?
It is all about the combination, and depends on the car. In general terms, too big of an exhaust will hurt low end performance, so there is a balance or ideal size for each setup. You need a certain amount of velocity in the exhaust to help scavenge the other cylinders, and this shows up in the lower rpm if the exhaust is too big. Doesn't really have much to do with the tune.

i'm interested to see the difference in 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 headers on this car should be interesting to see if it holds up that 1 7/8 are as good as they say without losing low end tq

headers for a g8 will not bolt on, the camaro has an engine oil cooler that gets in the way on the drivers side header, there is also a little differance in the engine mounting height
