I like everything overall. The stock exhaust could be reworked to have a bit more rumble on the V8 models imo.

Can't argue with that but I don't mind it.

Yes this I like. My wifes 2010 camry has this mechanism. I like it for a 4 banger.

Sounds like a tolerance build issue on the trans for 8s and 6s. Some in the 6 complain of the same issue yet others have no issue whatsover. Sounds like sloppy build tolerances. Thats what happens when parts are outsourced. GM needs to acknowledge the issue and correct it.

For me it's the:

Paint - even with EPA rules, can't there be a few more coats of paint and clear? I am not an expert in anyway but it seems thin.

Interior - the plastic is so firm, no give at all. Seems like it takes no effort to scratch them up.

Minor issue - would like automatic temp control.

Do away with the L99 and use the LS3 for stick and automatic applications.I love the auto but would like to have a LS3 engine.

Skimming through I saw the thread title and was coming in to say this. hahahaha

There should be an option for a thicker and better clear coat. I'd pay extra for it. Would be WAY more cost effective too. That car is not assembled yet. (than having it done now)

a lot of the problems would be solved if we could go back to a lacquer based paint instead of the water based crap that has to be used today.

I've had cars that were original paint and 30 years old and had some chips and such in it but my car that's only 3 years old and 10s of thousands less miles already has more chips. It's pathetic. One of the few things I really complain about.

NOT blaming GM but whatever reason we have such crap paint is what pisses me off. That being said, the paint on Bonnies Lexus wasn't any better.
