I've owned third gen and fourth gen Formulas and Trans Ams...if you want to see some crappy interior build quality take a look at some of those. I babied my 01 Firehawk and the door panels were still cracked after 40K miles. My tahoe is a tank but the Camaro "seems" to be constructed with nicer quality. I guess I'll see after I've had it a while. The thin paint seems to be a concern. As much as I hate car bras is this recommended? As for changes, I'd like GM to return to the multi function stalk that they have been using since the 80s. Cruise and wipers all on the same stalk. There is no need for two stalks. After 25 years of GM ownership I still find myself twisting the left hand stalk to get the wipers going. Also performance cars should have gas, oil pressure, coolant temp, and volt gauges standard. You shouldn't have to pay extra for that. Come on GM, even my Tahoe has a complete gauge package!!

They need to lighten the car at least 500lbs.

maybe a crisper sound system? idk i'm a music junky and i usually wear $400 headphones when listening to my music.
Seats are pretty comfy, and the interior looks pretty nice (especially at night) but it is apparent they "cheaped out" in many areas. Nothing except the steering wheel feels to be of remarkable quality.

Do you have the upgraded Boston sound system? The speaker placement is decent in the front, and the center speaker gives a uniqueness when compared to an average car system, but the fail comes into play when you look in the back. They chose to use the standard 6x9 2-way (woofer/tweeter) speaker mounted on a vertical axis instead of a component set. With a few minor tweaks the sound system can be improved significantly, as with all cars.

I bet the headrests are useless for you. I'm 6'1" and when all the way extended I'm pretty dissatisfied. If I slouch down the seats are great, think they were designed for people 5'6"-5'11"

People have complained about side to side tap shifting, but if M placed beside D the tap shift can be executed forward and backwards. The paddles are fun so I would actually like to see both. There is an aftermarket shifter that has buttons on the actual shifter which might be cool.

Rear-end differential grinding when you turn slow out of a driveway for instance.Had the dealer put some type of additive into it and work for awhile and it is doing it again. It seems this looks like an on going problem.

The one thing I would change, and I even made my own thread about this, is a better interior door handle instead of the change holder to close the door with. I got a little beat up over it in my separate thread (I honestly think people thought I hated the whole car because of it...simply not true) but that is what I would like to see changed. Even for the 2012's they have door locks on the door now instead of just on the stereo, so they are making slight changes.

So there are only little things, that I can live with, that I would like to see different. All in all, this is a fabulous car!

It is great to hear that you love all of the options on your Camaro! We definitely appreciate your feedback!
