guys with 25mm Mace

Hi,
For those who have installed the 25mm mace insulator;

Has anyone figured out how to get the engine cover to go back on?

Is there a good set of installation instructions available anyplace?

The MACE threads are so long now, it is really hard to find the current info.

Thanks!
-Dave

Just the insulator or plenum spacer as well?

as per ventmaster:

Yes- order part #92068813 from your Chevy dealer.

It's a oil fill tube extender- raises it 1". Then raise the mounting post on the passenger side of the engine an equal amount and you're good to go.

Hood clearance will not be an issue.

Thanks Hapi-

Be aware this is referring to the 25mm insulator only- I'd don't think this will work with the 25mm and 12mm plenum spacer.

It should accomodate the Black-icolator/12mm plenum spacer combo though .

Thanks for the info!
I am planning to go without the plenum spacer for now.

lol...i took the time to paint my engine cover, and now I've decided the engine looks better without it. I'll never use it.

I do have plans to paint my intake though.

I don't run with an engine cover either, but I'm betting the next guy might just think the car is worth more if the engine cover fits...

So I'm keeping that option open
