Ok, thanks Guys, to answer your questions, I would consider on a scale of 1-10 difficulty...they are a solid 8.5 for the hood, a very tricky install, not for a do it your selfer...don't have the measurements, car was not mne although was a old friends that I only found out that just as we were getting ready to do it, also if someone is trying to make a stripe kit which we will in the future you will need a car not just measurements. the one with the sideburns is my son Allyn...we have several more to do as they get here, but not time frame from the dealer yet....Rob

those are silver, and from what the dealer told us all the factory ordered stripes are going to be dealer installed..as far as paint is concerned, both have their advantages and flaws...Rob

EZ Striper is correct.
I've done 5 cars so far...... Not for the in-experienced.
The first car (For KDBOLT) I had to buy to replace the Hood Graphic when someone climbed into the car and closed the door rather hard.

Seems that everytime I'm in the middle of installing one of the hood stripes someone has to mess with the car.

EZ, Take some advice.....Make up some "Please Do Not Touch" signs and put them on the car while working on it.

That is a nice job. My dealership is on their 5th Guy to put my stripes on. Scheduled for Next Tuesday now. Its a bummer waiting this long. I will use this as my example of how it should be.

I am afraid GM is going to sell a lot of kits due to screw ups on install, we did this car on the showroom, but like the mustangs we have done, over 250 we are going to be taking all of these back to our shop..more contolled envirnment....can veiw more at e-zsigndesign.com Rob

People climbing in and out of the car while doing your work that would be annoying. In the future just rope the car off while your doing your work that would be a happy medium so people still can look at the car but not be in your way disturbing you.

I would prefer to just have the stripes painted on. Has anyone priced out just having the stripes painted on?

U can count on 3x the price then doing it this way. Its a lot of prep work taking the front ,hood, deck lid and spoiler off.
