Depends how far you let the tank go. It can look pretty low but still have three gallons in there. I always get at least 300 miles out of mine, with a couple more gallons in there. I usually put 15 gals in. 300/15 = 20mpg. but im usually at about 320-330 miles when I put 15 gallons in it which equals 21-22 MPG, right on target for me mostly highway

You asked only for V8,And the is a big diff. in M6 or Auto. Because of the fuel management on auto. Because I get good mileage On city and cruise. And believe me or not I don't baby it

8.5MPG almost 100% city driving.. thats with this motor build tho.

wow my cam and gears really didnt kill my mileage like i thought it would. I drove 1.5 hours at 65 to a racetrack, drifted away four tires, drove back and averaged 18. average speed i have never reset, but it is 48, thats a wee bit high.

I get about 16mph city and low 20s highway. Driving fairly conservatively.

When I first got it, about 18. Since I did the muffler delete, that has gone down to 17 or so, because I am suddenly accelerating more often for some strange reason.
![]() Throw in an autocross, and BAM, down to about 9 MPG. Have you tried the fuse pull trick, and making sure you are using at least 91 octane?

Last I checked- 12.9.
Work is 3 miles away. I drive through a lot of neighborhood and a school zone Every. Single. Day. Average MPH is pretty low. In the 20's. When I drive highway I get good MPG's, but that's not often. Oh well. Didn't buy it for the efficiency!
