Don't know about the color/age thing. I see plenty of older men driving Corvettes in bright colors. I think when you deal with a sporty car like a camaro, or even a mustang, the "rules" don't really apply anymore.

I think the younger crowd goes for the basic colors... a lot like the "stealth" look. Don't know many people my age that own the bright colors.
