So hard to say...I've waited for a long time to get something this nice...but if I'm fortunate enough to be able to get a newer one, maybe a ZL1 or if the infamous Z28 becomes available then I'd consider trading it in if I have to...otherwise I hope to be the lucky SOB that gets to keep it and get another one...lol.

When I bought my '96 Z28 brand new, I thought I'd "keep it forever". It was my 3rd Camaro and first V8 and thought it really fit me well. But after 15 years, you realize it's only a car. Things were starting to go wrong with it and I didn't want to sink money into an old car. There are much newer and better cars out there.

The same thing will happen to my 2012 SS. I'll keep it for a good long time, but "forever"? Not hardly.

Well I plan on keeping forever. I have the 45th Anniversary Edition and know it will be a classic. Eventually I hope that in a couple of years once I graduate with my BSN to buy the ZL1 and so forth. Planning on having a fleet of Camaros by the time Im 80

I see having this car maybe a year or so...then I'd like to make a move to an 03-04 Cobra coupe or a C5 Z06. I miss the V8, but I refuse to pay stupid money for one.

Agreed, sure are a lot of cars I would love but I refuse to pay crazy money for a car unless I find a money tree.

I planned on keeping my previous car as long as I could, but then life threw a curveball (and an old lady in a cadillac) at me. So who knows what will happen. Once I pay it off (or get close to paying it off), I will re-evaluate my options.

I'm happy with this car for the forseeable future. Maybe it'll get run over by dump truck when I'm in the mall or maybe I'll win the lottery... so aside from a few low chance happenings I'll have it for 8 -10 yrs I'd say.
