I just got off the phone with my dealer, he told me that my car was born on 5/14! However, he also said that it is currently bayed. He didn't say anything about quality control, only that it is being stored somewhere waiting to be shipped. Does being bayed necessarily mean that it is in QC?

no it doesn't. bayed just means its sitting...............that all. could be at Oshawa, could be at a railyard. don't be suprized if it goes from bayed, to transit, then back to bayed again. that just means it's in between tranport vehicles (train vs truck).

with a VIN that high...................you won't see a QC hold. but QC has to approve it before it gets shipped, they all do. unless there's some other new QC issue, you'll see yours in a few weeks.

well, i'm not giving up hope on getting somewhere positive today. my 2000 and 3000 move were at 2200 and 2230 hours on a tuesday night!

i'm keeping my hopes up..............

but it doesn't seem like there was much movement of any kind with our IOM orders for it being Tuesday.

guess i'll find out tomorrow.

I didn't check today...as it's still Tuesday til 11:59:59

will be sending out an early E-Mail on Wed. though.

My dealer says he's checking daily, they have 5 that went to 3800 all on 5/13 including mine, however he said they are all still at 3800 as of this morning..........

.

There is another dealer in the same town with 2 cars at or beyond 3800 as well......maybe a mass transport???......

3800 is good, my dealers 1st R6P order was still @ 3800 when it showed up at the dealership, and I've heard of others doing the same.

i've heard the same thing, but he said they haven't been invoiced for any yet........

But wouldn't the dealer know if the car had been shipped?

If it's at 3800...that just means that it's built... Is GM keeping the dealers in the dark too?

I'm at 3800 and my dealer told me that it was built but not shipped yet. If dealers are taking delivery of cars that are at 3800...then they are getting no knowledge of their vehicle being in transit. That sounds strange!

I just got back from my dealer. The General Manager called the DBC while I was there. No changes and they even told him they wouldn't give him a TPW. That they are not giving out TPW's to anybody, not even dealers. So, Day 20 at 3000 for me...BOO!

The GM honestly said not to expect to take delivery of my car until end of June, beginning of July........I'm going to go kick some puppies now!!.......I kid, I kid!

1- my sales guy as well as myself have been told that for a couple weeks.

2- i think our orders are in sequence, although ur 6 days longer at 3000. i'll bet we hit 3400 at the same time.

3- kick puppies................
