1999 chevy camaro problem

I have a 1999 chevy camaro V6 with a second generation engine and there is water in the oil what could that be I was told that, the second generation engine was made out of aluminum. Can anyone help me

You mean there's water coming out with the oil when you drain it? Or are you saying you have coolant in the oil?

No there is water in the oil, You pull out the dip stick and it looks like chocolate milk. I bought this Camaro for a project car (to make it better than a newer camaro) I bought it from a girl so she didn't know what she was talking about. I'm just making sure it's heads before I start taking the engine out.

Coolant = water. I'd check your intake gasket. Common on the 3800.

That's coolant, not water.

Only reason I asked is that condensation can cause some yellow gunk to build up underneath the fill cap. Freaked me out the first time I saw it.

Yea sorry it's coolant. I'm used to saying water and not coolant it's shorter
