Ok, I'm really frustrated. Went on ONLY 1 drive and this is how 3 out of 4 wheels look in various places:

Anyone have any suggestions to fix this? I know I have to redo my wheel, but what can I do in the future to make it last longer than 1 day?

Do more coats. Get a nice thick coating and it will last longer.

Apply a thicker coats, you can see in the picture that the original color of the rim is shining through the plasti dip. And if you have to use a flashlight to see if you can spot any shine on the rim while applying the final coats if you do find any you will have to apply some more. That is what I did.

Oh btw Stieger, can you add into your first post that a strong enough leaf blower can actually pull the plastidip off. I normally dry my car and wheels using a 160 mph leaf blower and after I started drying one of my rims, it started tearing off the plastidip in one section!!

You may have put 6 coats but they weren't even that is the issue there. You have to spray along with grooves and curves of the rim. Trust me the first time I plasti dip my rims I had the same issue though it is much easier to see the problem with black plasti dip as it contrasts with the normal color of the rim then white.

yeah i did the mirrors, i didnt remove them i just taped off the the seams that go around the front section. i was going for the look that the 1le has with the mirrors but couldnt do the whole mirror since the inside is red so i just went with the front part. its really easy bc the seam that seperates the two parts makes it have a clean cut. hoped that answered your question

Gotcha, I'll make sure to really get on the inside of the rims next time. Thanks for the clarifications
