Just me I guess.
LMAO.. you always show up when you see a slow time... If you don't think it's the better car then why the hell are you here. Go back to your SVTPerformance Forum..

That time is on the far end of the spectrum as compared to every other time we have seen. He sure hasn't posted up any other runs either.

GM managed 11.9x in -57 DA, flypaper starting line, and DR's.

I dont' think slicks and skinnies are gonna do half a second better than just a DR car.
GM's runs were on street tires also and I'm sure you know all about the starting line...

:troll: I guess I just fed the troll...

But another ZL1 owner ran slower than this and it was 60 degrees. But he was at over 2000 ft elevation (which shouldn't really affect forced induction all that bad - but maybe it affects the ZL1 for some reason).
I know the ZL1 that was tested at over 4000 ft ran really slow times (blamed on cold weather and lack of traction - but the trap speed was real low).

The other ZL1 owner ran 13s @ 110 mph.

The 60' on this one wasn't great, but not horrible either... The trap time is what doesn't make sense based on what we've seen...

I was very excited about the ZL1 when I first heard about it. Now, not so much. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car and it looks fabulous but it isn't quite the car it was made out to be by some overly optimistic folk. It's pretty much an direct alternate to the GT500, as it should be. Pick the one that appeals to you and enjoy. I, as posted elsewhere, will be sticking happily with what I've got till the '15's come out. I expect to be wowed by both FMC and GM then.

Amazingly, two times 12.54@111 with another 1.92 60'. Then, I ran a 12.66@111 messing around with the paddles I went from 1st to 3rd and let it run out. On the "botched" run I had a 1.85 60' 12.66@111. The splits did not indicate it was going to be faster either. Shew, had no idea I was going to start a five page thread. I am not at all disappointed because I know that this is the slowest it will ever run. Mechanically, it seems perfect with very low miles. I just wanted to baseline it before a few simple mods like air intake, pulley, tune, and ported TB.

Altitude (actual or apparent) will still have a noticeable effect on a blown motor, though much less of an effect on a turbo motor.

I was in the 11.43 thread and all the 10 and 9 second threads too. Why is it being a troll to answer someones question with anything other than the ZL-1 is the best car ever?

Can you please explain the 11.43 run like a rational human being? That is question I was trying to answer for the guy.

I know the guys who went 11.43, they are legit, they also ran in great air.

If I was OP, I'd be doing e'erthing like fuse pull reset in case the pcm is wacked out. 111mph is off. Good luck OP you'll get there.
