John said he made it down there in his Vette. He said he did have fun. I'll keep my eye open when there will be something like this going on again. I can't make it for about 3 weeks as my plant is in a maintenance turn around and I'll be on night shift for a while. I hope some other cars make it down there.

we'll be doing this again next saturday... last friday was a light night, not many of the heavy hitters were there... we are posting up on a few different car forums, trying to get some friendly brand rivalry going on...

So Fred, I take it damage was minimal? Mike told me your car was running good. For me, looks like I'm gonna be on my 3rd rear diff. I put less than 100 miles on the newest one from Strange. Monday morning after my shift I was driving home and it started to sound terrible. I don't know if I can trust this DSS 9" kit. What a waste of $8K!

WTH?? How much power are you putting down now? Doesn't DSS give a ridiculous warranty on their rearends?

The DSS housing and axels are not the problem, but I have broken one of their level 5 1000HP axels on my only 630+RWHP car. So that's when I upgraded to the 9" and got $500 credit for my broke axels toward a 9" kit. It seems the diff is built at Strange and shipped from them. The latest diff lasted less than 100 miles and sounds like it's binding up. At this point I'm not a happy customer. Hey anyone can take a crap in a box and slap a guarantee on it, but it's still a guaranteed piece of crap. I got to figure out what I need to do.

Sorry to here that Jason. I am try to get some money together to repair the damage and get some new wheels. I been wanting to hang out with all of Mayhem but I been busy. I hope we can make this even one day and Mike did a good job on my car it is running good.
