Looks like your going to need new stripes. You could probaby just get the portion of the stripe thats messed up if you find someone that does automotive vinyl.

I usually wash it at my house and have been trying to ''buff'' out that stain for weeks so I figured id use the new car wash around here and it has a really high powered pressure washer so I figured I'd try it out and failed miserably.

Never use a pressure washer to wash your car man. You can probly just get the decals and replace the piece you muffed up tho. MAy have to buy a whole set of decals tho.

OUCH !!!!!

I have a couple of air bubbles under one of my spoiler stripes, and my dealer had to order it. It is covered under my warranty. I would check with the dealer and don't mention that you did it with a pressure washer .

I know the dealer pretty well and hes helped me on my old cars so if it is covered I'm sure he'll let it slide and things will be ok. I use a pressure washer every week and hand wash it. Never had a problem, the automatic ones never seem to get it as clean

If you have a good (Emphasis on GOOD) vinyl sign shop nearby they can patch or replace that part of the stripe with good 3M Vinyl. We used to have those issues all the time on our police cars in the fleet that I managed. Otherwise, replace the whole thing and stay away from the pressure hose until it has cured for a loooooooooooong time.

Thanks, I did manage to snag a 100 dollar gift certificate for 35 bucks to one of the automatic car wash places around here. So that'll come into good use for a while.

Sorry to see that, but remember, high power pressure washer and cars don't mix. Your repair shouldn't be too bad though.

Find a vinyl supplier on here i.e. NightShades and order that one piece. You don't have to order a new set.
