OEM Fog lights on the 1LS? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been doing some reading on this forum and it appears that most of the LS owners are buying these fog lights:

I would really like to be able to control my fog lights and not have them come on when the headlights are on. so can i get the dealer to add some fog lights that i can control or is the only option really to buy some after market ones?

You could buy oem parts from a place like gm parts house if that's what you mean.

I personally got some cheap ones from wal mart that fit and then replaced the bulb with an led one. Then wired it to a switch

i didnt even know you could order stuff from gm parts house. I read that these cars are not pre-wired so im guessing thats why the dealer told me there was no way in hell they could install fog lights on these cars (i just called after i wrote this post). so if you have the 1Ls you have to get aftermarket fog lights i presume?
