Woo Hoo I'm pumped, waited 40 yrs to do something like this. From the days of my fathers friends in the Corvette Corral. Thank You Mark, Summit Racing, Watkins Glen, Ramada of Ithaca and all the other fine people who are making this a great weekend.

BTW Mark, once the races start will we be allowed to exit and enter the infield through the tunnel on the back stretch?

Last year I left early and had no problem leaving through the east tunnel to gate 2. Not sure about the west tunnel, but I would think you can go where you please, except maybe the paddocks and out onto the track before the CTS race is over

It's an open track, meaning all camping areas are open to vehicular traffic for this event. Gate 2 thru the tunnel is open24/7. However Gate 6 runs limited hours, usually daylight only. There is pedestrian traffic allowed in the boot via tunnels. Do not expect the gate on the NASCAR short straight to be open. If I'm not mistaken all seating is still general admission and open to the public. Although when we were there they were still working on safety fences in turns1 & 2 this weekend, expected that to be done. All seating should be FREE!!!
