That's why there are so many threads about things like "What did you have for breakfast the day you bought your Camaro"?

"Should I sell my dog and make my kids get part-time jobs so I can afford a ZL1"?

Or, "I told my wife, she's sleeping in the garage now and my Camaro's staying in our bedroom".

Just got my car today and I noticed that when you close the door, the window slightly lowers to let the air pressure out of the car. Once the door is closed the window goes back up.

Probably already well known, but it's new to me! lol

Nice post, like others I never new about the clip in the console lid and must have opened it countless times, probably would have never known it was there.

I agree with some of you. Not everyone lives on this site. Most are out enjoying our Camaro's. I say ease up on the negative comments.

Ok! Did you know you can turn your stero on without the key in it and it will play for about 10 min and turn off! Owned the SS for 3 years and just found out the day before trading her in.

It has NOTHING to do with "internal cabin pressure". The window goes down slightly because the car does not have a metal frame around the window like a lot of other cars. If the window would not slightly retract, the window would not seal correctly in between the rubber. Instead, it would be on the outside of the rubber and the window would leak. I've had several other cars in the past when this tech wasn't available yet and the window wouldn't seal.
