Extra Clearcoats ?
Is anyone going to get extra clearcoats applied for looks or protection or is this even a good idea? Thanks!

can you actually get clearcoats added......and do you mean from the dealer?

Read up in the cosmetics forum on how to care for the paint without scratching it etc.
Save your cash for a repaint later if you still have it. |

I am surprised the dealers haven't thought of this already and run a "Rusty Jones" type advertising package with it!!!!
 MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL GET 5 CLEAR COATS PUT ON

No, there is no reason why you would need extra coats of clear on your car...
unless you like to waste money... then go for it.

Lol no I'll keep my money its just the early black ones we saw were on another level of shine and I thought it was because of extra clearcoats. Ill see if I can track down pics oh here they are. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7750

no.. those cars had to be wet sanded and buffed.
