ZL1

Ya when my original dealer got ther allocations pulled in march I went on major hunt for one in canada and tried to get one out of the U.S but thats near impossible unless it's used.
I got lucky after calling around 15 dealers in Quebec
I'm looking forward to receiving the car as we all are..... It's been a long time coming for everyone...

I was in the same boat having trouble finding one in western Canada Every dealer wanted my money but no one knew if they were getting one and when. Had a dealer find me one in the US - about 3 weeks before the QC hold he had 17 available. By the time the hold came off that number dropped to 5 - dealers wanted to keep them to get more than list. I got lucky I guess. No warranty till next year but I'm ok with that.

I know of 7 for sure in northern Alberta that were allocated and received by dealers and there were a few in Calgary and 1 for sure in lethbridge.

Sounds like I got really lucky. I had no trouble getting a car. A year ago I went into my local dealer, started talking to a salesman about the then"Z28" he told me no info yet but leave your name and number and color/trans wanted and he'd call me. 8 month later I got a call out of the blue, I'd forgotten all about it. " I ordered your car if you still want it, if you don't it's ok I have a list of 15 other people that will take it" I never hesitated. I'll take it. They refused a deposit and sold it to me at MSRP. I was a little concerned when I heard about the cuts in production. On May3, my 41st birthday I got the call the car was serial# and bayed waiting for carbon fiber stripes. 3 weeks later car was still WAITING. Finally put on rail car June 2. Should be any day now

Quebec Deliveries

Has anyone in Quebec received thier cars? I would assume they are all on the same rail car. GM is telling me mine left Oshawa last Wednesday and as of this morning it is still showing on the rail car. Wow that sure takes a long time....
