Mine never do this but my wife's Envoy does it to the point it's almost a problem. I'm sure is due to the added battery usage but it gets annoying in her ride.

Sweet! I don't know how many times I have chased my windows while going up or down in the last month. Good info.

Depending on the sunglasses I wear, mine looks like it's streaked. Actually, all the windows do. Hubby thought I was crazy until we switched glasses, then he saw it to. I'm assuming it's the UV coating or something that can only be seen with whatever coating my sunglasses have. Or is yours an actual picture of something?

A large number of car windows/windshields/sunroof glass are zone toughened ( the glass has been heat treated) to keep them from shattering, enabling you to see through them if they are broken. These areas polarize the light to some extent and so they can show up when you're wearing polarized sunglasses.

The last thing I would do is reach under anything to when a cop is asking me for my license and registration.

some thing I found out after my wife did it.....
I always listen to my Itouch on a random playlist, and when the wife was sitting in the passenger seat (keep in mind I always just hit the "next/forward" button to get to the next song if I dont like the current one) and she didn't like the song, so she spins the nob on the right side of the radio, and it brought up a menu of the songs and the "random" order that they are playing in and you can skip down or even back untill you find a song you want.

only had the car for 2 years and never knew that. (now I use it all the time)

and all the more reason that I love my wife

Now you got me curious. I need to do a quick clean-up before my road trip tomorrow, so I'm definitely going to look when I clean the sunroof. Does sun/shade matter?

That was worth reading all these others for. When I drive I don't care, I can just flick through, but when I'm a passenger, I was doing it on the iPod itself. Nice to know I can just leave it in the console and do it off the radio buttons.

OP, you should take all the helpful "tips" and edit your initial post and put them in there as a list. There are some good things in this thread.
