If your interested I can give you the names of 2 places I know do good powder coating. However they are up north here.Ones in Windsor and the other right off I-25 between Erie and Dacona exit.
I will have to check on the Windsor place though. That tornado went through there a few yrs back. Not sure if it effected the shop any.Did all my powder coating on my Harley's.The place in Erie sand blasted and powder coated my sub frame for my Nova.

He has about a 2 or 3 day turn-around, so he's super fast and reliable, plus he knows how to disassemble and reassemble our calipers so you won't get something back that someone who has no clue messes with and ends up looking pretty, but then leaks.
Just sayin..

I have to agree with you both on this color thing. I had a orange and black 69 camaro back in the 80s, which I still have by the way, just bare metal now, however I had a 69 mach 1 which was bright red. Both definitely muscle car colors. I also had a sassy frass green 69 dart GTS which would be the historical equivalent of Synergy green, yet closer to the new mustang green. Where I am going with this is you both are right. Wow I agreed with two people in one post better mark this day on the calender. Tom, I plan on putting some flat black or carbon fiber stripes on the vette to hide some of the Torch Red paint. Kirk notice that on Corvettes it is not called Victory Red.

Yeah, the ZL1 vert is late availability, supposedly starting production in Aug.

Thanks for the info.

BTW; I was informed it was called Victory Red by the dealer cause it smoked all the other colors off the lot. They had left over colors from the Victory Red and the Bumblebee, and the custodial worker accidently mixed them together while cleaning up, and there you go.....IOM is born

You and the other Vic red owners are just jealous that for the same price us IOM owners get the pleasure of our cars being 3 colors during the day and you get that gag red all day Long.
We get Beautiful orange,a touch of gold at times....and it even has been mistaken for redish at dusk. Thank god it's dusk though cause it means it only has to be compared to that embarressment of a color (someone thought of when he cut his finger) for a very short period of time.
In fact most of us chose to take it to a car wash or hid it indoors during that period of the day.....speaking of period....ok sorry won't go there.

I don't know about you but the extra gene in my DNA will enable me to do this forever!
