Nope. People with the LS3 say to pull the negative cable and pull the fuses. L99 just pull the fuses. I didn't notice anything

by applying the circuit with voltages, its possible that those tables being "latched" in volatile memory can be reset due to the presence of ground. pull fuses, roll ignition over (not to start but to ON), turn off, reinsert fuses and restart.

maybe this has been tried already but this is currently on page 77...
...anyone try this yet?

When I purchased my used 2010 SS LS3 a few weeks ago, the battery was at one point disconnected since the radio and clock were cleared. Did they also do a fuse pull? I can't answer that.

When I do remove the battery terminal, what errors/lights should I expect, if any?

Removing the battery should not give you any errors. I would go ahead and do a fuse pull if you think someone used low octane gas.

OK, I have read about 15 of these pages and still have no definate answer....
I have a 2010 Camaro SS with the LS3. I want to do the fuse pull. I saw the steps in the very first page, Im just wondering if there is anything special to do for the LS3 engine? eg. Battery?

Just from a lay-men's point of view, I would think just doing the fuses would suffice...It's the same principal to cut power to something by breaking a connection...shouldn't be that complex...

Just pull 5 and 20. Wait an hour or so and put back in. Some say over night but that seems a bit much.

LS3 is same as L99, pull the fuses. There is a ECM battery backup unit between the main car battery and the ECM. So pulling the battery terminals the car would have to be left for a few days for the ECM battery backup to run down.

The fuse bus is after the ECM battery backup so pulling them clears allot faster. Usually 3 hours works. I found it easier if you have a garage is to pull them before you go to bed and put them back in in the morning. I left my hood up to remind me I pulled the fuses.

Good idea. Starter just spins and spins with the fuses out

Well i just posted regarding rough idle....now have read a few pages of this and even though the car is fast to me, i know no better having owned a 265hp maxima prior. So fuses are pulled, now Im not so concerned with the idle but the fact that the car may have been slower than necessary for months since I took delivery!

It was practically on E when I did the test drive, we put gas in it on the drive (I didnt even look at what he put in, which I did in retrospect) and then they toppped it off when I picked it up (again, didnt ask). I always assumed u put in shitty gas it adjusts, put in premium it adjusts back as well. If this isnt the case I would be suprised if it had 87 in it at one point or 89. Well see!

Since none of of us have exacted the fuse-pull on LS3's, I thought I'd mention that there's an 'ECM/Battery' fuse in the trunk; F13 is what the manual mentions.

Anybody try that yet?

You do not need to do pull the batt on an LS3.

Ive done 5+ fuse pulls on the car, never once done a d/c of the battery. In fact, this is the first I've heard it.

Every time i did it, i noticed a difference. Peppier, and much better pull in 1st and 2nd.
