Ok. You two have had your questions. Now...lets let it go, please.

If you'd like to continue the "discussion" about whether anyone owned a 67-69 OR what the actual color of the back panel is, you two can take it to PM's, please. This doesn't seem to be going anywhere and I begin to feel it starting to take away from the thread.

This is about Toms stripes and what he's offering....whether you like them or not...and whether someone wants to get them or not.

In case someone notices, that car is tape, we just wanted to see what it looked like. Also, my body shop guys are following this thread so again, input is welcome, we know we can't please everyone. Bear in mind we are trying to come up with some stripes that have a custom touch that is our own.

I thought I saw two horizontal lines.....but figured it was something in the camera....or a reflection.

Again, I like the entire rear panel painted.

Has anyone else mentioned painting the rear panel a different paint color?

....like maybe getting the rear panel paint to match the color of the stripes?....

I like both styles. If you go w/ a rally set, I think the small rear panel is the way to go. If you go w/ the single solid stripe kit, I think the rear deck lid stripe should go altogether and just the entire rear panel painted.

OK, we listened and made some changes, here is the car with gloss black instead of satin black. Also we added an SS emblem to see what it would look like.

I like it, but SS in both places seems redundant. Maybe debadge the one on top right?

I like it! Does that SS emblem properly cover the bowtie holes or is that a photoshop? I am also planning the same set-up but I am thinking of putting a smaller blue bowtie where the red "SS" is on the trunk lid. I will also be removing the chrome bezels for additional depth for a more agressive look.

I'm not a fan of the top of the bumper painted on this model. I do like it between the taillights. I like this better than the satin though. I agree with Snizzel. Can you take the ss off of the trunk lid? That SS in the middle looks really good! I'm still not sold on the stripes all the way to the end of the spoiler. I think I might like them better ending part way down with the pin stripe going all the way around. Don't get me wrong though it does look good!

We taped it on to see what it would look like, and no, we wouldn't have two ss emblems on it. Just looking for opinions.

My opinion is that it looks GREAT!! Do you have a picture of the car with just the panel between the tail lights in black, and the retro SS emblem?
