Dunno. Usually it's either a vendor change, or revised design. Interestingly the other part didn't change, nor did the lower grille.

I don't have the parts yet, they're on order. Plus, I don't have the "original" part numbers to even compare them to as to what the difference actually is.

I'm thinking it is the second part of the brake coolers the one that mounts to the inner fender liner. I have the other ones on there(old part number) and they are a poor design. They are 2 pieces/halves, when I bolt it on the first part of the brake cooler it wants to come apart. Look at previous pages of the brake coolers pictures and you will see what I am talking about.

Or it is the first part brake coolers and they made it a little smaller diameter to fit the second part of the brake coolers with our them coming apart.

Save some money and then do it, You can mode your old absorber but it will be lots of on and off till its right, the support you can try but when your front bumper starts to crack you will buy more parts and need to repaint it, The drl retainers you can run with out as long as you dont mind the DRLs moving all the time, and whats up you dont have the new fogs on your list.

Actually, if you can believe this, I just picked it up from UPS hub yesterday. It's still in the box. Maureen from Rodgers was in charge of shipping it and we had to get a window of time to do it all. I haven't got all the miscellaneous parts I need yet for the front end conversion, so I'm waiting to get all those to come in before starting anything. I do know I have to paint it yellow first thing...and then figure out if I'll need Ofer's harness to hook up the light. Nice thing about it is I can keep my original trunklid and front nose, so if I ever sell the car, put it back stock.

It is the second part that have a new part number. Maybe they're breaking and needed an upgrade. That's good for me I guess because I've got the new numbers on order now.

I recently had front end damage would it be much more to switch to the zl1 bumper cover? I think I need everything on the list anyways because my damage included the impact bar and wheel liners. Might as well upgrade if it wouldn't be much more.

Well I dont know for a fact but I believe a new SS fascia from GM is atleast $500 and if you damaged a lot then insurance would be covering it. They will more than likely allow for you to pay for the difference if the ZL1 fascia costs a little more. But members have been paying on average $1,200 if they don't have a connection with someone in parts at a dealer. I paid $640 for everything out the door including paint. Only because I used to work at the dealer and know the parts mgr lol
