I'm putting a class 1 on mine for my bikes because Frankly I don't want to drive another car now that I have the Camaro; I'm smitten. My Expedition will continue to haul the kayaks and pull the boat.
Plus it intimidates the other cyclists when you pull up to a race/event in a Camaro haulin' your bikes.....you get in their heads man!

The guy isn't far off in his thinking... I thought about putting a removable bike rack on, but quickly dismissed the fact that I'd rather not carry it on the backof my Camaro for fear of scratching the paint.
Look for a removable bike rack from pep boys and see if it will fit Camaros'. Like many others said, I would not recommend installing roof racks or bike racks, but a non-permanent option may be the better way to go. They literally just hang over the trunk until you shut the lid over it. Msg me for the name of it. I believe I still have the box and can get the name of it for you. I was watching SPEED today and saw a commercial for Sea Sucker. They make vacuum mounts for all kinds of items including bike racks that hold up to three bikes.

I've been doing Tri's for four years... I just bought a truck to haul the bike in. I wanted a truck for $5K that I could throw away in a few years. Three days into the search, I found myself $57K lighter in the wallet. But it sure does haul my Tri-Bike nicely in the bed! The Pace car stays virgin..

My Camaro only cost about $28,500 to begin with. And my cheap blazer cost me $3800. But using a truck just to haul a 40# bike is a tad overkill
The blazer has boat duty only.

I just wanted to add a picture of my car to the mix. I used a bolt on hitch from Curt. Took about 10 minutes to install, with 5 minutes trying to figure out what I did wrong because it was so easy. Works well to carry two road bikes on a Thule rack.

might be a good option actually, buy a hidden hitch for the car, then you could get one of the bike racks that goes on a hitch for the few times you need it, but when you dont the hitch is hidden. Plus doesn't hammer your paint.
heres a nice one. http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitc...eid=2012302252 sorry had wrong one there, now its the right one |

The only RACK that should go into or onto this car should be measured in cups.
