Well thats great if you can do it but I cant. I have bone on bone grinding inside my left hip and torn cartilage so pushing a clutch is like a knife in my hip everytime. No thx. Ill take my auto, lol!

All that being said, I am a truck fan. But if I was setting out to beat Camaro SS's, my first choice wouldnt be a Dodge Ram, lol.

And I say you run your friend in the 392 challenger. That way if you beat him, you'll really shut him up - along with the nay-sayers on here too! His car is faster than a stock SS, but yours is not...annnd his car is stick - so he has a bigger chance of botching it. Otherwise you could always Marty McFly his ass and let him t-bone a van. Alot of options here...

Well, I test drove the SRT8 Challenger and it "felt" slower than the SS. Definitely doesn't feel like it has 470 hp. Manual SRT vs auto SS.

I don't think the SRT8 is faster, it has more HP (well the 392 does anyhow), but is heavier and geared lower (I think). Regardless of all that, I really like the way the new Yellow Jacket looks, but reading the reviews on these it seems to be a matter of when not if as far as when something will go terribly wrong.

You have a HOT car. OF the three current muscle cars yours is the best looking and its a stout factory car. If you want to SMOKE the hell out of a stock SRT8 or a stock 5.0GT, it does not take much as far as mods and tunes to do it but again not needed, you have that coolness only a camaro can bring to the party.

Screw the rest, you love your car with good reason, that is ALL that counts. Some JUST CAN NOT handle a lady that loves cars. Personally, I think its cool as hell!!!

you didn't start this thread about ignorant people then followed it up by posting ignorant misinformation. therefore I wasn't talking about you

I think someone needs to check up on their reading comprehension a bit

I quoted you AFTER you gave in and threw her a bone by saying you'd take "comparable"...
