Doesn't matter what the numbers are. A Chrysler is a Chrysler.

In fact, when a neighbor drove up in a new Challenger spouting numbers, I replied, "I don't care how fast it is. It's always gonna be a POS Chrysler and mines always gonna be a Camaro, so who wins? I do".

I know that's pretty immature, but I had to say it.

Outside a performance shop, a Charger R/T owner walked up to me and tried to convince me his (100% bone stock) Charger R/T could keep up with my Camaro in a drag race.

I tried to explained to him that my car ran low 12s in the 1/4 mile. My hood was also open and he looked at my CAI and long tube headers? Even after all that, he was still making comments about how his car was just as fast as mine.

My friend with a V6 challenger told me he'd whoop my V6. I was like "in the giant, heavy slab of a car? Ya right."

They look even heavier than the 600lbs. The Challenger though is a sweet ride. The SRT Magnum I run into is a monstrous looking beast. Black, tinted, wheels etc. I wish there were more of them.

They do look great though! I was put off by the interior. The car is much larger than a '70s Challenger. More back seat than I need.

Best comment I ever had from a MOPAR owner was when my brother was bragging about his bored and stroked 440 "Spun like a Chevy"

They were nice. My daughter had a v6 version, and even that was a nice driver. Mercedes really screwed up that company. The car could have been better if it weren't for them refusing to let the Chrysler guys do good R&D and get good interiors.

Thats how I feel about the BS talk, if you aren't willing to go out there and prove something, no reason to argue about it. Bunch of games, talk talk about what money buys...same thing as a dyno shoot out.....doesn't mean a thing. You have 10-20 HP more than me, big deal.

I love the first trip to the dragstrip, when such crap talking owner starts making excuses as to why he's not running the 13.xx that the magazine test claimed. There must be something wrong with the car...blah blah.
