I'd like to know where are all the timeslips from these mid 11 second 13 GT500s from the owners. I think I have seen 1 impressive slip in a month and another video of one be pounced on by a 98 Cobra. All this talk from the SVT gang yet virtually no slips from the owners. They were in here in droves demanding owner slips for the ZL1, but a month on the street you are telling me these cars haven't hit the local unprepped tracks? Are they afraid to post them? I think that the expectation is so high that if owners don't get into the 11s they won't be posted.

Seriously tho, think about a ZL1 (4300) or a Shelby (4100) and then a Z06 with driver at 3380, insane they got the vette so light.
According to R&T it's around a 200lbs. difference. I could get it down to a 100lbs difference without sacrificing any creature comforts. So for all those saying the weight is a HUGE disadvantage...WRONG! Then up the PSI to GT500 levels or even less and advantage ZL1.

Also, how many high performance all aluminum big blocks could you purchase from the factory in 1969?

That's the thing. You couldn't just order a ZL1 Camaro. It existed because people knew how to work the system.
