IMO the high wing would only look good if you're also getting the ground effects.

seriously i wish people would just drop it with the whole "wing = rice" thing. if you don't like wings on your car that is perfectly fine, but please don't rag on the couple of us that do. we are entitled to our opinions too.

now that i've finished my mini-rant, i will state a simple fact: the high-wing spoiler is no more "rice" than the big dove-tail that a few of you were oogling at.
on a honda they both would be, but as lovecheese kindly pointed out, these aren't hondas. these cars are fully capable of handling their own, whether it be on the road, a dragstrip, or a track.
one final thing: with all the performance mods many of you are planning on doing, even a massive wing like the one on the C6.R above wouldn't be rice for the simple fact that they are functional. even though imo that would look like poo.

thats what I am going to do anyways since there is no point in buying and painting a whole new trunk lol
That's actually a great idea

I actually like the idea of ground effects and high wing spoiler.... they just seem to compliment each other!

Here are some pictures of my 2000 Alero I designed as a 442 and after 9 years, I still think it looks great...spoiler and all.

I hope the spoiler looks like that, I like that one... just maybe a little high?

That Alero is hideous, no offense just my opinion. I'm sure I like things you don't like and so on and so forth. As for high wing on Camaro in my book its a no no but to each his own. Even though I'm 28 big selling point for me is the retro styling since i grew up drooling over my dads 68 ss which has since been given to me, and there ain't nothing retro about a high wing spoiler. But obviously the car is very modern at the same time and if someone wants a hi wing spoiler well go for it.

Hideous you say? ... Well, I know as a fact that there were over 30,000 people in the Oshawa and surrounding areas that would disagree with you, however, everyone does not always agree on what looks good and what looks bad. Hey, if they did, we'd all be driving the same cars.
Back in the days when it was new, my dealer had me take their nameplate off the back of my Alero, ya.. that's right ... I said OFF, due to the fact they were tiered of getting calls from consumers and other dealers as to what the option code was for this 442 package and why they didn't see it before. This was probably as a result of me driving around a lot in it ... being stopped at corners and visiting car show with it, along with the fact of GM releasing photos of the OSV ( Oldsmobile Special Vehicle ) Alero which looked similar to it, but done in #72 - Candy Apple Red. Anyhow, I like it and I guess that's really all that matters in the end.

but if you like it then you should get it, think of it this way you will stand out from the rest and it only matters if you like it

I wouldn't drive that if it was free, I would sell it promptly for a new camaro and spend rest on vette too.
