How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I'd really love to see a stock-vs-stock Camaro ZL1 versus a Cadillac CTS-V. The Caddy is considered the fastest "production" car in the world (which leads me to believe the ZL1 is NOT a production car) but they both have the same engine.

I know all fellow LS/LT owners have the same engine as the Cadillac CTS (not the V of course). I still think the ZL1 would win as I believe it's been modified over what goes in the CTS-V.

I think you mean fastest production sedan. And I think it has since given up that title to the Panamera or E63 AMG or the like. And yes, the ZL1 is a production car.

I think the V sedan still holds the title as fastest production sedan.

This was awesome as well. I think I saw this on here before but still great to look at. Great job! I can only imagine the rush and adrenaline felt when racing in these ZL1s

Very Nice... Here are the mods quoted from the other thread..

Quote:
The blistering 10.32 run was made with a full weight ZL1, using its stock 1.9 liter blower, stock heads, catalytic converters with a density altitude of well over 1000 feet. The ZL1′s mods include a Redline Motorsports proprietary camshaft, upper and lower pulleys, headers, improved heat exchanger, cold air intake, performance torque converter and Mickey Thompson drag radials. This bad ZL1 makes well over 750 horsepower and 700 ft-lbs of torque.
