I think he might be talking about a thread on here about 2013's.Someone told a guy if he had a 2013 on order,he should have it within 12 weeks from time ordered.

There is an individual from Canada who attended some show and talked to someone from Chevy with a convertible ZL1 with VIN #8 who said 12 weeks. It wasn't specified as to if this was for the convertibles or our cars. He also says this guy told him he would get his Camaro even though his dealer does not have an allocation. To me this makes the information sound suspect. So until I hear from fbod, becky or GM themselves I will be hoping to see my car before C5Fest.

Yea it was on a thread here!! Nothing really was specified as I did say supposedly! However it was also mentioned the 12 week hold was so the factory could build supply!! Ours aren't supply orders. They're SOLD orders!! I really hope this wasn't in fact true!! However still doesn't seem like any 13's have left Canada!! So now it's just a waiting game for us at 4B00! As well as everyone else 3000 and higher!! We will all probably be built, and shipped around the same time.

Subject : Status on ZL1's

Body : Hello again, As I said in a previous email, It appears that these cars are still in QC. That statement continues to be the normal and we are still seeing 100% of the ones we are tracking holding at the 4b00 status. For those of you that are just moved to the completed status and bayed but do not see your VIN number yet, this is also normal and it will catch up shortly. And lastly, if you have tried to view your Online window sticker it appears that they are still not available and an error message is being displayed "WE ARE SORRY, THE PAGE YOU ARE REQUESTING IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. Please try again later." Once these cars ship the window sticker usually shows up at that point. Thanks again for your understanding. Larry

Body : Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we are keeping a close eye on the 2013 Camaro ZL1 build and distribution. Although over 130 are now born there have been zero that have moved beyond the bayed status like yours. I know how excited you must be and did not want you to worry that something was wrong with yours since it had not shipped yet. None have! More than likely these early build 2013's are simply getting a hopefully quick QC check to evaluate production quality and of course the new components that were introduced for the MY 13 ZL1's Try and have a good weekend and rest easy knowing that we are watching each and every one of these cars, and yours in particular.
