Winter Tires for 20-inch wheels

Hello,

I'm getting a spare set of 20inch OEM wheels to use during the winter. I'm looking for tires to put on them and it looks like our options are limited for the 20-inch diameter. I've seen the Scorpion Ice and snow that tire rack sells but haven't seen it sold anywhere else. I've read on Blizzaks but have yet to find anyone who sells it. I'm having a really hard time "shopping" around and was wondering if any one knew of a few good places to source these or any other winter tire I can use on the OEM 20 inch wheels.

Thanks!

I used the Scorpion Ice and Snow tires on the OEM wheels in the 20 inch size last winter and got them at Discount Tire. Had no problems with them at all but last winter we didn't have as much snow as normal either.

the scorpions are amazing in the snow. As long as you can use throttle control you'll have better traction than some of the wranglers

Same here. I have the 20" Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow that I used on my stock SS wheels last winter. I ordered them from a local tire shop and had them installed there too.

I plan on using them on my ZL1 mounted on my TSW Nurbugring wheels in the rare case it comes out of the garage in the winter.

I usually buy all my tires from Discount Direct. I talked to them yesterday and they mentioned their Winter sets are not in stock yet. They've been ordered and will be available after September so I think I'll wait.

I've alreay ordered a spare set of 20-inch OEM wheels I'll be putting these on.

We're you able to fit the 19s over the brembo "roller skates?"

Do you ever come to Saint Louis? I could have sworn I saw your car (or one just like it) parked outside Coco Loco in the Central West End.

I have 20" Blizzaks. No problems. Used Discount Tire Direct. Make sure you get the extra TPMS or that stupid prompt will hound you all winter.

I am about to switch my tires for more sticky tires, they are pretty new continental DFW extreame traction that handle well in snow and rain, willing to sell them pretty cheap... let me know, just a thought.... less then 3K on them...

Some 19s fit over the brembo roller skates. Most do not.
