To debadge or not to debadge. This is the question

I thought I'd ask the input of this wonderful community because I respect the opinion of the majority and I'm up in the air on this issue. I've considered the removal of the 'camaro' side badges and the 'RS' badges on the front and rear as an easy mod. As I've come closer to doing it I almost feel like I'm disrespecting the 'Camaro Gods' by doing so. What does everybody think?

Do what you like I say. It's your car.

I think you should do whatever will look the best to you.

I kept my badges on because I like the heritage of the naming convention.

nope. i de-badge a truck any day for the clean look but i feel the camaro has just the right touches when it comes to the badges. If you just want something different go with the retro handwriting ones. I dont think they are that expensive

It's up to you... But, in my opinion, the people complaining the loudest every time someone mistakes their Camaro for a Mustang are the ones who have debadged. Just an observation. I'm proud to be sporting the bowties

This is why I created the thread. i hadn't thought about this but it would ruin a day or maybe a week the first time a person complimented me on my mustang or more likely my challenger.

I love the retro badges and you're right you can find them very cheap. That was my first thought but then I realized as I continue to modify I move further and further from a traditional look to a more modern one

Totally up to you bro... Personally I didnt think the shiny chrome light bezels and chevy/SS emblems looked good with my Matte Black and Grey idea so off they went.....

I ditched the bowties, but kept the camaro emblems. In place of the red "SS"s, I put the sparks restoration SS emblems in white front and back.

My feelings on modding are "less is more". I am considering swapping my camaro logos for the old school script logos though.

Don't see anything wrong with it. I'm planning on blacking mine out.
