There's more of an exterior difference between a ZR1/Z06 and a base Vette than a GT500 and a base v6. And price ratio of GT500/base v6 is roughly 2.5...

Ok let's put this thread out of it's misery. Basically what you guys are saying men who buy Camaros and Corvettes do so cause they attract WOMEN. Men who buy Mustangs Because they attract other MEN.

Or maybe there is a difference between who are buying used corvettes and who are buying new corvettes. Anecdotal evidence obviously has questionable accuracy.

When I was dating my wife, she didn't even know I owned a vette until she asked why I never parked my car in my garage. At which point I told her that is where I keep my other car, and that was after about three or four months of dating.

We're talking friendliness on the road, willingness to adapt to varying road conditions, forgiveness when approaching that 'limit'?

I can guarantee for a large population of people, that's the ultimate drivers car. And there is not one thing wrong with that.

But some others like the car that is mean, unforgiving, willing to beat you up, take your wallet, and leave you passed out on some railroad tracks.

Well, that was an exaggeration, this isn't the 60's..but you get what I mean.
