My vote: Keep the exterior stock, get the most from your mod money by improving performance.

Its really your choice, but I'd have to debage it. Same thing I did with my Challenger, people would see my car and think its a 6 until i start it up lol

Hey Pincoin, your car looks great, I have the same model and color minus the stripes, which are very nice.

What does the IBM part of the IBM L99 stand for? I know the L99 is the engine, but I keep thinking IBM is "big blue", ha.

Thanks,

Tony

IBM = Imperial Blue Metallic

L99 = auto engine

LS3 = Manual engine

If you have L99 or LS3, you have an SS (v8)

LLT = engine for 2010-11 all v6s

LFX= 2012 engine for all v6s

Saying you have an IBM L99 = Imperial Blue Metallic SS that is an auto

I removed the CAMARO, was going to replace with the script one but I am kind of liking the clear space there and ease of waxing.

I agree w/ those folks who say it's your car, only do it if you like it. Debadging isn't something you do to please others, you do it to please yourself. I did mine and I like it so much better, it's a cleaner look while being so much easier to wash, dry and detail.

I debadged mine . I took the camaro off the fenders and the rs off the decklid . I want to take the rs off the grill but can't figure it out . Perhaps someone can chime in . I like the clean look of a debadged vehicle but like most have said , it's up to you . Good luck ....

I love all the factory badges, I do not like the look at all when the bowtie and SS or RS is removed from the front.

It's connected to the grille, but it just clips into place. The grille is firm, just twist and pull, it'll come off. The key for me was getting one side of it loose, once I did that it was easy. It may deform or break but it'll eventually come off w/o damaging the grille. Worked for me. The front bowtie was much tougher to remove.
